To use STC, you must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a binding agreement. By using the Platform, you represent that you meet these requirements.
You may be required to create an account to access certain features. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information, maintain the security of your account, and notify us immediately of any unauthorized use. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
STC provides the following services: Access to clean energy job placement opportunities, tools for certified solar/wind technicians and graduates of approved training programs, connections with employers in solar, wind, and related sectors, VR-enhanced training modules and AI-powered job matching, and optional staffing contracts, direct hire arrangements, or project-based employment models. STC also supports partnerships with third-party training providers and may integrate additional services over time.
STC is not an employer of users unless explicitly stated in a separate written agreement. Most technicians using the platform are either independent contractors or employees of external hiring partners. STC is not responsible for wages, taxes, or benefits, working conditions, or employment disputes. All job agreements are between the technician and the hiring company, unless otherwise specified.
STC may offer virtual reality (VR) simulations and AI-driven features to support training, job readiness, and matching. These tools are designed to augment learning and decision-making but do not guarantee job placement, replace required field training, or predict outcomes with complete accuracy. Users are encouraged to exercise independent judgment and verify all job offers or training credentials.
STC facilitates connections but does not guarantee employment, earnings, or duration of job assignments. All employment terms are negotiated directly between users and hiring partners.
Some training programs offered through or affiliated with STC may involve Income Share Agreements. These ISA arrangements are governed by separate legal contracts and do not fall under these Terms. Users participating in ISA-based training are responsible for reviewing and signing ISA documentation provided during enrollment.
STC may charge employers a platform or staffing fee. For job placements, STC may deduct a service fee from technician earnings. In some cases, STC may act as a third-party staffing agency and bill employers directly. Payment details and structures will be disclosed in your specific engagement agreement or dashboard.
By using STC, you consent to your profile, training history, and credentials being shared with verified employers to support job placement. You may opt out of employer visibility in your account settings, although this may affect placement opportunities. Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which outlines how we collect, store, and use your personal data.
You agree not to impersonate others or falsify your identity or qualifications, violate any applicable laws or regulations, upload viruses or malicious content, use the platform to spam, harass, or exploit other users, or reverse engineer, scrape, or repurpose STC content or code. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.
If you submit any content including testimonials, reviews, messages, or training logs, you grant STC a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, and publish that content for business and promotional purposes. You may revoke this consent by contacting us in writing.
All platform content including branding, designs, VR modules, AI systems, course materials, and original code are the property of STC or its licensors. You may not copy, reproduce, or create derivative works without written permission.
Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration in the State of Maryland, under the rules of the American Arbitration Association. Each party will bear its own legal costs.
The platform is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. STC makes no guarantees about job availability, platform uptime or performance, or accuracy of AI recommendations or training content. You use the platform at your own risk.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, STC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from or related to your use of the platform, including loss of earnings or employment opportunities.
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms or misuse of the platform. You may delete your account at any time by contacting support@solartechconnect.com.
STC reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will post updated versions online and notify users of material changes. Continued use of the Platform after updates constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
